This is where Roark Junior led little Nancy Callahan before being tracked down by John Hartigan. Hartigan caught up with him and shot him twice, removing his hand and his genitals, only to be stopped by Bob. Both Junior and Hartigan lay dying on the wharf until the paramedics arrived.
The Hard Goodbye[]
Upon escaping from the police raid on the hotel where he and Goldie had been staying, Marv drove a stolen police car off one of the piers before swimming to safety in a sewer tunnel.
