...ask yourself if that corpse of a slut is worth dying for.
— The Padre to Marv

The Priest aka Padre was a Catholic priest with ties to the Roarks.

The Hard Goodbye []

He was approached by Marv in a confessional booth to confess about torturing and killing of three bad guys during the night (ConnellyTommy and Telly Stern) and also for information pertaining to Goldie's death. It is the Padre that tells Marv about Goldie's connection to Roark and the Farm.

Shortly thereafter, he tells Marv to ask himself if "that corpse of a slut is worth dying for," whereas Marv uses Gladys to blow him away.

The Priest was played by Frank Miller in the film.
