Joey is a businessman going through an awkward marriage with Gloria and resentful of people he believes are ungrateful and holding him back. He had an affair with Sally, an Old Town girl. He also liked to hear that he is the "Boss".

He was the subject of a private investigation job handed to Dwight. After he had his fun and provided plenty of photographic evidence, he is ready to break up his relationship with Sally and having her tied with handcuffs, he is ready to shoot her

In that moment Dwight jumps in and ties him for the room service with Sally's handcuffs.
