Davis was a torturer working for the Mob.

The Big Fat Kill[]

Davis was present when the thugs of the Mob invaded the Old Town. When Gail is kidnapped by Manute, Davis is the one torturing her. As recognised by Stuka and Schutz, he is an "artist" when it comes to torture, able to put someone through supreme agony with nothing but his bare hands without even leaving a mark on the victim. He also has a set of tools that he uses when it's time to get down to business, but we never find out what he does with them because Dwight McCarthy and the girls of Old Town bust in to rescue Gail at about this time.

Davis is killed along with Manute and every other member of the mob gathered in the alleyway.

Film version[]

In the film adaption Davis's role as torturer is filled in by Manute.
