Carmen was a victim of incestuous child abuse, she ran away from home when she was twelve, making her new home in Old Town where she became employed as a prostitute.
She became good friends with Daisy another prostitute, but over the years they became lovers. One night she stopped at Poppa's Olympian Palace a Greek diner to phone up Daisy when she was accidentally killed by Vito during a mob hit.
